Alfred Herrhausen Society – Deutsche Bank
Named after Alfred Herrhausen, former spokesman of the Deutsche Bank board of directors, the non-profit Alfred Herrhausen Society is the international forum of Deutsche Bank. Its work focuses on new forms of governance as a response to the challenges of the 21st century, seeking traces of the future in the present, and conceptualising relevant themes for analysis and debate. It targets future decision-makers, but also attempts to make its work accessible to the wider public.
Bettine-von-Arnim-Gesamtschule
The Bettine-von-Arnim-Gesamtschule is a comprehensive school that prides itself on its holistic approach to primary and secondary education. The school is based in the Rhenish town of Langenfeld not far from Düsseldorf.
Every aspect of the school has been carefully designed to support the individual development of each student, from the design of the school buildings around a central campus to frequent cooperations with experts from politics, economics, culture, sport and the social sector.
A two-year review of the school’s entire communication by an internal working group culminated in a new slogan that summarises the three pillars of the school’s teaching philosophy: Lernen–Leben–Lachen (Learning–Living–Laughing).
Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI)
The BDI is the confederation of German industry and acts as the voice of German enterprises competing globally. With its extensive network in Germany, Europe and all important international markets, the BDI represents the political interests of its members and helps opening up new markets. In addition, the organisation offers advice on economic, political and various other industry related topics.
The BDI represents 38 industry associations and 100000 Companies with more than 8 million employees.
Bürgerstiftung Gütersloh
In 2016 Gűtersloher Bürgerstiftung – the German town’s citizen foundation – celebrated its twentieth anniversary. The foundation is dedicated to welfare of the town’s citizens and was the first of its kind in Germany.
On the basis of the early foundation of Bertelsmann’s Reinhard Mohn, Bürgerstiftung Gütersloh has developed into one of the top ten citizen foundations in the country.
The fund of the Bürgerstiftung and its trusts is used to initiate and support projects in the education, health and cultural sectors and amounts today to more than ten million euros.
CISE
CISE (Centro per l’Innovazione e lo Sviluppo Economico) is a special branch of the Chamber of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena promoting innovation and economic development.
One of the core activities of the organisation is the development and implementation of company certification schemes for social accountability (Lavoro Etico), responsible innovation (UGO) and family friendly establishments (In Famiglia).
Design Council
The Design Council makes sure people in business, education and government know how effective design can transform what they do. The organisation aims to increase awareness of design's role through events, publications, research, educational resources for students and case studies highlighting examples of design and innovation in action.
Design Council projects are demonstrating how design adds value and boosts productivity in business as well as improving the way public services are planned and delivered.
DTI
The German Association of Technology Transfer and Innovation Association (DTI) brings together the leading consultancies for innovation and technology in Germany. DTI supports the German Mittelstand (small and medium sized enterprises) by acting as a multiplier, stakeholder, catalyst and quality manager for technology projects. As the link between politics and business DTI promotes Germany as a key location for sustainable innovation.

Germany's Ministery for Economics and Energy has established 38 eBusiness-Lotsen - organisations that guide small and medium-sized enterprises with expert knowledge and useful information through the maze that is modern IT.
Fachhochschule Brandenburg
Fachhochschule Brandenburg was founded in 1992 and is based in former army barracks on the outskirts of Brandenburg an der Havel west of Berlin. 3000 students are currently studying for their Bachelor and Master degrees in three courses – technology, economy as well as computer science and media.
50 international partnerships with universities in Europe and overseas are testimony to Fachhochschule Brandenburg's programme of global cooperation in research as well as teaching.
Fachhochschule Potsdam
Breaking with convention was the key to a design programme intended to raise the profile of a progressive, multi-disciplinary college in Germany.
Fachhochschule Potsdam (FHP) is a young college which started during the winter term 91/92 with 145 students. Today approximately 1900 students work at the college.
83 professors teach a variety of subjects including educational theory, architecture and town planning, restauration, engineering, graphic and product design, documentation and cultural studies.
GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam
The GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ) is a non-university geoscientific research institute and was founded in 1992 on the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam.
As the first of its kind worldwide, the GFZ combines all solid earth science fields including geodesy, geology, geophysics, mineralogy and geochemistry, in a multidisciplinary research centre.
An underlying principle is to combine the geoscientific know-how of universities and other research centres in national and international joint projects.
German Science and Innovation Centre São Paulo
To encourage the exchange with international partners, the German Foreign Office and the German Ministry of Education and Research have established German Houses of Science and Innovation (DWIHs) in five countries.
The centres in Tokyo, New Dehli, Moscow, New York, and São Paulo serve as platforms to stimulate research cooperations and innovation projects between German universities, research institutions, innovation agencies and their partners in the host countries. Central to establishing future collaborations between German and Brazilian institutions is a year long celebration of innovation, technology and sustainability masterminded by the German Science and Innovation Centre São Paulo.

Thomas Manss & Company was invited to participate in a competition for the new Stadtwerke Bielefeld identity.
T.IN.A Brandenburg
The Technology and Innovation Agency in Brandenburg used to foster start-ups and technology orientated companies in the region. Today, this task is the responsibility of ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg.

Technologiestiftung Brandenburg is a foundation set up in 1998 by the Brandenburg government. The foundation provides support for research and development projects focussing on innovative technologies.
The foundation promotes technology and knowledge transfer, organises semiars and workshops, initiates joint projects with industry partners, awards grants and special commendations for research projects.

The German Federal Foreign Office
The German Federal Foreign Office is responsible for the country's foreign politics and represents Germany’s interests globally. UNICEF
Created by the United Nations General Assembly in 1946 to help children after World War II in Europe, UNICEF was first known as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. In 1953, UNICEF became a permanent part of the United Nations system, its task being to help children living in poverty in developing countries. Its name was shortened to the United Nations Children's Fund, but it retained the acronym "UNICEF," by which it is known to this day.
Working with national governments, NGOs (non-governmental organisations), other United Nations agencies and private-sector partners, UNICEF protects children and their rights by providing services and supplies and by helping shape policy agendas and budgets in the best interests of children.

ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg GmbH (ZAB) is Brandenburg's central agency for business development and for consultancy services in the fields of technology, innovation and energy.
ZAB can therefore offer a specialised range of services which focus on supporting the recipients of state, federal or EU subsidies and on providing assistance in all financing issues.
ZAB is a one-stop agency with a two-pronged approach: providing assistance for companies settling in Brandenburg and support for Brandenburg's companies wanting to invest abroad.
