Who says that an annual report has to be dominated by the legal obligation to publish a plethora of financial information? Admittedly, this year's Fedrigoni annual report is a very special affair, the company is commemorating its 125th anniversary after all.
To celebrate the occasion, no stone was left unturned to honour the contribution of all the people at Fedrigoni – the proverbial Fedrigoni 'family'. A series of portraits of staff from all walks of life opens the publication and in addition, every single employee has their name printed on the endpapers of the report.
Little wonder that the 200 page book was greeted with rapturous applause at its unveiling at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona. Finished to match the occasion, with the finest Fedrigoni papers and flush silver edges, the report appears to be cut from a solid block of precious metal – an oblique nod to the publications financial origins.
