Colours are a universally understood part of the designer’s vocabulary, while words more often than not only make sense to the few who speak the same language.

Each diagram in this little booklet represents a national flag. The proportion of colours in the diagram reflects the proportion of the same colours in the country’s flag. You might not speak all the languages, but let the colours guide you around the world.
