In Famiglia Certification

When CISE, a special branch of the Chamber of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena were looking to establish a certification scheme for family friendly establishments, they commissioned Thomas Manss & Company to develop the name and seal of approval that would be bestowed on hotels, restaurants and other tourist attractions that met the strict criteria.

The name In Famiglia is not only easily understood by native speakers as well as international travellers, it also invites new members into the family of the already certified establishments. In addition, it relays the fact that the majority of the member organisations are family run.

The mark plays on the easily recognisable theme of stars awarded for excellence, but it surprises with the stars doubling up as five characters that can be animated for promotional materials.
