The title of Museu Vale's exhibition 'Das viagens, dos desejos, dos caminhos' can be loosely translated as 'Journeys, Desires, Paths". The show brings together nine contemporary artists from the North and Northeast of Brazil and explores concepts like territory, affection and identity.
Inspired by the 'Carte du Tendre' a French map of an imaginary land from the 17th Century, the visual identity developed by Thomas Manss & Company presents the cartography of a 'new place' created by curator Bitu Cassundé, in which the imagination of the artists and the public interact.
