To the ears of the aficionados the engine of a Maserati sounds like music. The Modena engineers even talk about seven distinct notes the cars produce. This musical connection was the starting point for a partnership in sound between British audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins and the Italian car manufacturer. The result is the Seven Notes project, bringing together a Maserati engine, musician and producer Howie B, Abbey Road Studios and Bowers & Wilkins' renowned audio expertise to create music from a Maserati engine.
The worldwide Seven Notes World Tour travels to Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York and Milan to celebrate the Anglo-Italian collaboration on the Maserati Quattroporte. Thomas Manss & Company created the graphics for the tour’s seven stops highlighting the passion and unrivalled heritage both parties bring to this rarest of joint ventures – two of the finest players in their fields imagining the future of automotive sound.
